Regarding Duke Nukem Forever 1998 Build

#1

Hello there. It’s apparently been a year since I’ve last posted, so I thought I’d give you a visit.

Duke Nukem Forever is rather infamous for getting scrapped and rebuilt from the ground up multiple times over the course of fifteen years, but one of the builds which has always caught my eye the most was the one that introduced the game to the public in 1998.

Despite being a treasure trove of information, the internet surprisingly lacks information on the pre-release builds of Duke Nukem Forever minus some trailers and screenshots. I’d love to get my hands on any further information I can get should it exist.

If you know of anything - even if it’s just something you’ve been told about - please share it with me as I’d love to hear it.

Thank you for stopping by.

There are three articles, from PC Gamer and Computer Gaming World, discussing DNF 1998. You can find them here: http://legacy.duke4.net/page.php?38

Also, the DNF Museum contains various text documents (online interviews, plan updates, press releases) preceding the switch to the Unreal engine: http://duke4ever.altervista.org/textdocs.html
